Its a really great relaxing exploration experience. I played it on Android when it first came out, it has certainly come a long way since them. Very cute and fun to eat everything. Love the look and feel of it.. So cute. I actually don't mind the music either. (I usually play games without music), Only a couple of probems, 1) I can't figure out what it's all about. I hear crashing sounds and sometimes when I go past the glowing white rock I go faster. If I don't keep planting on a planet all the plants die. But what else? What is the crashing? What do I do with the bee? How do I get the giraffee unstuck from wherever it's stuck in (its in a blue place. just blue, can't even see him) 2) It gets me dizzy. I get motion sick and man, this game gets me dizzy. I wish the camera movement were different so I didnt feel like I am spinning with my character. Still, over all its fun for a few minutes of chilld rolling around on various planets.. This game is kinda weird, but in a nice way. It's playful, soothing and invites you to explore. It doesn't challange you all that much and is quite light on game mechanics, but that is to be expected of a casual and abstract indie game.Don't let it keep you from enjoying the bright, colorful world that is Shu's Garden.. Listen... all you need to know about this game is that you can flip through space as a color-changing being known as the Regal Giraffe. If that doesn't sell you on the premise here, nothing will.Shu's Garden is a simple game about rolling around, eating plants, planting seeds, and jumping now and then, all conveyed by the ridiculously cute artwork and comfortable musical score. It's a good game if you want something to distract you that doesn't require much input -- it's kind of the digital equivalent of a fidget cube, something to do while you try and focus on, say, a lecture or something. And that's not bad at all! I can see younger children having some fun with this, there's not (that I've found) any really questionable content whatsoever. It's just a simple, cute game about rolling around and interacting with things, and it does that well enough that I think it's a worthwhile buy if you think you (or someone you know) would get some entertainment out of it. If the artstyle or the mechanics don't seem that interesting to you, though, you probably aren't going to find much here -- and that alright! This is a wierd, niche little thing, and it isn't for everyone. But I got some amusement from it in the end, and so this ultimately gets a recommendation from me.. Well its everything it says it is, Cute and abstract. It's an alright game, I wish there was some direction with it. Perfect to waste time in the gaps of a busy day. Just start it up and go. 6\/10. quot;Um......" that was the first thing I said after playing this game. It is really rather strange. The art is kinda cool and the music is sorta neat. But there are no instructions, guide lines or goals at all. I know thats really part of the point of the game, but there really isn't much to do in the game and it doesn't capture my attention at all. It's almost like they tried to do what Proteus did and make a kind of anti-game where there are no goals, no objectives, no story, no instructions, and nothing to do but look and listen. Proteus got away with this because there was a sence of wonder and mystery. It made you want to go explore and see the world. In this I couldn't find that element of wonder so I lost intrest very quickly. I'm not sure the game is worth $4.99 so I can't recomend it.EDITI liked the game but I didn't like it enough to justify the 5 bucks.(I'm keeping the original post unedited for posterity and laughs; you don't have to read it.).
